About me
I provide strategic research and communications to help decision-makers understand the impact of emerging technologies on value chains and global policy.
My career began at the intersection of business and law, reporting on intellectual property issues. As a staff writer and editor based in London and later in Hong Kong, I produced articles, reports, and events that enabled investors and companies to navigate rapidly evolving markets in software, telecommunications, and life sciences.
From 2017 onwards, my work shifted increasingly toward the startup and venture capital ecosystem, analysing the impact of digitalisation on food, transport, and supply chains. Stationed in Singapore, I covered emerging business models and investment trends for one of the region’s leading tech titles.
In 2020 I transitioned to the investment side of the industry, joining a venture capital firm focused on agriculture, food, and the bioeconomy, and applying my skillset to deal flow and strategic narrative.
Between 2022 and 2025 I led the agrifood practice at a boutique consulting firm where I advised private and public-sector clients on investment and M&A strategies, competitive intelligence, and regulatory matters.
Across these roles, my work has consistently focused on translating technical, market, and policy complexity into insight that informs decision-making and communicates strategic value. I combine rigorous, independent analysis with editorial-level accuracy and clarity.
Now based in Vancouver, I provide a bridge between Asian and North American markets, working with an international portfolio of clients. They include investors, corporates, founders, and policymakers seeking clear, credible analysis of emerging technologies and sustainability-linked systems.
